Excessive sweating armpits or hyperhidrosis axillaris is annoying. Particularly when you wear light clothing, large dark spots can develop as a result of excessive perspiration. But even if you do not suffer from excessive perspiration, it can give you a certain feeling that you do not suffer from sweating armpits.

During a treatment against excessive perspiration, a muscle relaxant is injected into the skin of the armpits with a very fine needle. Muscle relaxants ensure that the stimulus transfer from the nerves to the sweat glands in question stops, temporarily stopping them. This results in reduction of perspiration caused by these sweat glands. The result is noticeable after two to three weeks. After three to four weeks, the effect is optimal and the effects last for six to nine months. Thereafter, a treatment can be repeated.
